This is a small altar built by hand, here on the old web, where pages still load fast and nothing tracks you home.

Mortal Offerings began as a place to collect my thoughts and research. I'm hoping to grow it into a complete research library

Who this is for

Mortal Offerings is a space for real devotion to the theoi. It's just as much a space for anyone who's here because Greek myth and culture are genuinely cool, no altar required. Queer, trans, disabled, any race, any religion, any nationality: if you're here in good faith, you're welcome.

What it's not for: nazis, white supremacists, homophobes, transphobes. Pagan and reconstructionist spaces get targeted by this stuff more than people realize. Folks try to bolt "blood and soil" nationalism onto old religion, or use goddess worship as a backdoor to argue trans women aren't women. None of that flies here. The gods don't belong to a race, a nation, or anyone's narrow idea of gender. Neither does this site.

Why I care

I'm not saying this from a safe distance. I'm trans/non-binary, AFAB, and neurodivergent, and some of the people I love most are from targeted demographics too. Rhetoric that erases people, or pretends the harm done to them isn't real or isn't ongoing, isn't a "different perspective" to me. It's just wrong, and I'm not interested in pretending otherwise on my own site.

What you'll find here

The Journal holds entries written as they come. Observations, fragments, the occasional longer essay. The Shrines, once complete, will hold displays for the gods. Everything here is made slowly, by hand, and updated whenever it's ready rather than on any schedule.

An offering doesn't have to be large to be sincere.
